An approachable and expressive English sparkling wine showing all the character of a quality classic NV champagne – balance, freshness, complex primary fruit and secondary fermentation aromas and a lingering clean finish. The blend will vary sightly year to year but will contain varying amounts of Pinot Noir (to provide structure, red fruit aromas), Chardonnay (to provide elegance, freshness and citrus/apple notes) Pinot Meunier (to add roundness), Pinot Blanc (to add vibrant acidity and subtle fruit aromas) and Pinot Gris (to provide creamy texture and aromatic complexity). This wine has benefitted from 5 years on-lees ageing which has added the classic champagne aromas of pastry, toast, nuts, brioche and a delightful smooth creamy mouthfeel. The Dosage included a sparkling wine aged in magnums which further enhances the wines complexity and depth. A fantastic English Sparkling wine at less than £30 a bottle.
