Daniel Batham and Son is a fiercely independent Black Country family brewery in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, founded in 1877 and now in its fifth generation. Producing the legendary Batham's Best Bitter — a light, malty, hoppy session ale described by Michael Jackson as 'a classic example of a Black Country bitter' — and XXX Mild on a handful of tied pubs, Batham's is one of the most revered small breweries in England.
