About
Daws Hill Vineyard is a small family-run estate set in a remote and beautiful fold of the Chiltern Hills near Radnage, planted in 2004 by Nigel Morgan and now run by his daughter Holly. Growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Auxerrois entirely by hand, Holly vinifies in small batches in the converted stables and ages every bottle for a minimum of three to four years before release — producing sparkling wines with genuine depth and a strong sense of the Chiltern terroir.

THE FRIDAY FLIGHT – Breakfast
Fri, 30 October 2026 · 19:00 — 20:30
Three wines. Three pairings. One very relaxed Friday night. Fancy doing something a little different on a Friday evening? Join us at Daws Hill Winery for The Friday Flight — a casual evening of wine, food and a few unexpected combinations. Each session features three carefully chosen wines from three different English vineyards , paired with three different foods or snacks. Sometimes the pairing will be a classic. Sometimes it might be crisps, chocolate, popcorn, biscuits or something you really wouldn’t expect to see alongside a glass of wine. The idea is simple: taste, experiment and decide what you actually like. I’ll guide you through each wine, tell you a little about what’s in your glass and we’ll see what happens when you put it together with the food. No wine knowledge needed. No complicated tasting notes. No stuffiness. Just good wine, interesting food and a Friday night in the winery. THIS WEEK’S FLIGHT 🥣 BREAKFAST FOR DINNER Three English wines meet three breakfast favourites. This week we’re throwing the usual wine-and-cheese rules out the window and seeing what happens when wine meets the breakfast cupboard. We’ll taste each wine on its own, then with its pairing, and see how the flavours change. Some combinations might be surprisingly good. Others might leave you wondering why we ever thought cereal and wine was a good idea… We’re not saying you should start drinking wine at breakfast. We’re simply investigating. WHAT TO EXPECT 🍷 Three different English wines 🍽️ Three carefully chosen food pairings 🍇 Three different vineyards 💬 A relaxed, hosted tasting with plenty of chat 🤔 A few unexpected combinations 🧀 Something delicious to nibble on 🍾 The opportunity to buy bottles to take home Every Friday Flight will be different, with new wines, themes and pairings to discover. THE SETTING The tasting takes place inside the Daws Hill Winery in Radnage, Buckinghamshire . It’s a working winery rather than a polished restaurant, so expect a rustic, relaxed atmosphere — particularly during the winter months. The winery is unheated , so please come prepared with warm layers, a coat and sensible shoes. Think cosy winter evening rather than fine dining! Spaces are limited. Bring a friend, come straight from work or make a proper Friday night of it. No wine snobbery. No rules. Just wine, food and a little experimentation.
