The winning beer from our 10th Birthday Home Brewing competition, Robbie Bullough's recipe is a take on an historic American style, Kentucky Common. The style originated in Louisville and was known for being darker in colour but light in body. Robbie's interpretation uses flaked maize alongside five types of barley and Ernest hops. It was fermented with a Scottish ale yeast strain for an international take!
