Hambleton Ales is an independent craft brewery founded in 1991 by Nick Stafford on his farm at Holme-on-Swale in North Yorkshire, producing a range of award-winning traditional ales with a strong Dales character. Known for Nightmare porter, Stallion bitter and Stud strong ale — all named after the famous Yorkshire racehorses — the brewery distributes to pubs across North Yorkshire and has won multiple CAMRA awards.
