Lightning in a dark glass. Blitzen is a 4.0% porter brewed with six malts, deep and rich, with a liquorice sweetness set against dark chocolate and the slightest hint of salt at the edge. The stag on the label is named for lightning. The beer is quieter than that: smooth, warming, and gone before you expect.
