The Lakes Distillery is an independent craft distillery founded in 2014 at Setmurthy near Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District, producing single malt Scotch-style whisky, gin and vodka from a beautifully converted Victorian model farm. The flagship The One blended whisky and Whiskymaker's Reserve single malts have won multiple international awards, while The Lakes Gin is distilled using a bespoke botanical recipe; the stunning lakeside location and visitor centre make it one of England's leading whisky tourist destinations.
