Littlemill Distillery was a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Bowling in Dumbartonshire, widely regarded as one of Scotland's oldest distilleries with a history stretching back as early as 1772. Closed in 1994 and partially destroyed by fire in 1996, the remaining stocks of Littlemill single malt are among the rarest and most sought-after in Scottish whisky, commanding extraordinary prices at auction and through specialist bottlers.
