About
McEwan's is one of Scotland's most historic brewing brands, founded by William McEwan in Edinburgh in 1856 and once renowned for its Fountain Brewery on Fountainbridge. Although the original brewery closed in 2004, the McEwan's brand — including the flagship McEwan's Champion lager, 80 Shilling and Export ale — continues to be produced under Carlsberg Marston's ownership, remaining a much-loved Scottish brewing institution.
