Octomore is Bruichladdich Distillery's ultra-peated single malt Scotch whisky expression, made on Islay and released in annual limited editions since 2008. Holding the record for the world's most heavily peated whisky — with phenol levels far exceeding any other commercial Scotch — Octomore is made entirely from Scottish barley and matured in a variety of cask types, producing expressions that balance extreme peat smoke with surprising sweetness and complexity.
