Brora Distillery is a legendary Highland distillery in Sutherland, originally founded in 1819 as Clynelish and producing some of Scotland's most revered old-style heavily peated single malts before closure in 1983. Reopened by Diageo in 2021 after a meticulously faithful restoration, Brora now produces small-batch whisky once again using its original distilling equipment, with its pre-closure bottlings commanding extraordinary prices among collectors worldwide.
