Red Wine Cask: Bordeaux, Single Malt Whisky

Cask Series / Autumn 2026 / 70cl / 52.8% (cask strength) / non-chill filtered / natural colour / 243 bottles.Welcome to the Cask Series of whiskies; a collection of unique expressions, each celebrating the marriage of our distinctive spirit with specially selected, individual casks.For this expression, we selected four small red wine casks: three were fresh, wet casks direct from Château Batailley in Bordeaux, and one was a refilled merlot wine cask, that last held Cooper King whisky. After maturing for over 4 years, the casks were married together and bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration or colouring. Each bottle has been hand-filled and individually numbered.Tasting NotesNose: spiced poached pear, cut flowers, raspberry coulis and white chocolate.Taste: dried fruit, bay leaf, baking spices and citrus zest.Finish: caramel, rich malt and Battenberg cake.Whisky. Floor-malted heritage grains are hand-mashed, long fermented, copper pot distilled, matured and bottled in our distillery. This creates an authentic whisky, influenced by the people and landscapes from our journey – for you to enjoy on yours.
