Main character: This gin originated as the result of a unique collaboration started in 2019, between Richard and Rachel Trenchard, the Forest of Bowland AONB team and Peter Blackwell, who farms at Bell Sykes, Slaidburn. The internationally recognised meadows have been cared for by the Blackwell family for three generations. Read more about Hay Time here.The blend of freshly harvested botanicals harnesses the meadows’ rich diversity and includes species such as sweet vernal grass, red clover flowers, yellow rattle flowers, meadow vetchling leaf, bush vetch and common sorrel.*PLEASE NOTE: Due to changes in circumstances at the original site, this is currently a retired chapter as we explore potential new meadows. We hope to work with a meadow that has seed links to the original, from which to harvest the botanicals.
