Laphroaig Distillery is one of Islay's most celebrated distilleries, founded in 1815 on the south coast of the island and owned by Beam Suntory. Producing the world's most intensely peated and medicinal single malt — its defining iodine, seaweed and antiseptic character comes from its own floor maltings and Islay peat — Laphroaig holds a Royal Warrant from King Charles III and produces a core range spanning the famous 10-year-old through to Quarter Cask, Triple Wood, 25 and 30-year-old expressions.
