North British Distillery is a large Edinburgh grain whisky distillery founded in 1885 in Gorgie, jointly owned by the Edrington Group and Diageo. One of Scotland's largest grain whisky producers, North British distils a clean, light grain spirit that forms a key component of many of the world's most famous blended Scotch whiskies; its own-label single grain bottlings are rare but increasingly sought after by whisky enthusiasts.
