Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery is a pioneering farm distillery at Hunmanby Grange Farm near Filey, producing the acclaimed Filey Bay single malt whisky from barley grown on the farm's own fields. Founded by Tom Mellor and David Thompson in 2016, the distillery uses estate-grown barley to create a genuinely field-to-glass Yorkshire whisky, releasing a wide range of expressions including flagship Yorkshire Pale, STR Finish and Peated that have won international awards.
