This cask matured Two Drifters rum. Before that, it held Madeira. Before that, it was cut and coopered from French oak. We only use a cask once, extracting flavour from a cask that's already given up its character takes far longer than a fresh one, so once we're done with it, it's done for us but it's got plenty left to give.
