A true-to-style English IPA, made the unfashionable way and better for it. Estate-grown Maris Otter malt gives it a golden body with real backbone, then a generous charge of Boadicea hops brings the bitterness and a long, resinous finish. It's named after Golden Close, one of the prettiest fields on the West Barsham Estate and one of the places the barley in your glass actually grew. Very few beers can point at a field.
