Wine & Cheese Online Tasting

You asked we delivered! Join us from the comfort of your own home as we team up with our friends at Rennet & Rind for a cheese and wine tasting. Each ticket includes (enough for up to ten people): • Five exceptional English cheese (hand-picked by Cheese Affineur of the Year, Perry Wakeman) • Three full sized bottles of wine (carefully selected by Philip Amps and Ashely Clarke) Together, they’ll guide you through each pairing, sharing stories, tips and tasting notes as you sip and savour along. There is enough cheese and wine to see you through the weekend or share with up to ten people. So, grab your friends and get comfy at home. Please Note: Wine and cheese will be delivered separately a few days prior to the event. Delivery will be made to the address given for the booking Each ticket can accommodate up to ten people Booking is necessary one week in advance of the event. This event is non-refundable but may be transferred up until 7 clear working days before the event. Please note due to the nature of this event we are unable to cater to any dietary requirements.
WSET Level 1 Award in Wines

Who is the course aimed at? - Front line staff in hospitality or retail, particularly those preparing for or starting their first job. - Wine consumers interested in learning more. Topics covered in the course include: - Styles of wine - Principle grape varieties - How wine is made - Wine tasting - Storing & serving wine - Social responsibility - Food and wine pairing - WSET Level 1 systematic approach to tasting (approx 6 wines to taste) How long is the course? - One full day - At the end of the course there is a 45 minute closed book multiple choice official examination. When can I study? This course is one full day: - Saturday 3rd October, 9am - 5pm Course fees? - £250 - this includes a study guide, wine samples, tuition, examination and certificate. This course also includes tea or coffee and freshly baked pastries on arrival, a lunch comprising of a selection of sandwiches and chips plus refreshments of water, tea or coffee throughout the day. Who is the course aimed at? A beginner to intermediate qualification exploring wines. - Front line staff working in the wine or hospitality industry. - Wine consumers interested in learning more. Topics covered in the course include: - How wine is made - What factors influence wine style - The key grape varieties - The important wine-producing regions of the world - Label terminology - Food and wine pairing principles - How to describe wine using the WSET Level 2 systematic approach to tasting (approx 30 wines to taste throughout the course) How long is the course? - Three full days or six evening sessions. - At the end of the course there is an official closed book examination (50 multiple choice questions). When can I study? This course is split into three full days: - Saturday 7th November, 9am - 5pm + Saturday 14th November, 9am - 5pm + Saturday 21st November, 9am - 5pm Course fees? - £600 - this includes a study guide, wine samples, tuition, examination and certificate. This three day course also includes tea or coffee and freshly baked pastries on arrival each day, a lunch comprising of a selection of sandwiches and chips each day, plus refreshments of water, tea or coffee throughout each day. English Distillery Masterclass

Our last whisky Masterclass was such a success we decided to host another one with England’s oldest registered whisky distillery. Brand Ambassador Mike Fisher will go through 7 different whiskies and whisky based spirits. A cheese and Charcuterie board will be provided.
