A Rare Release from the Balfour Archive Introducing a truly special release from the Balfour archive: Balfour Brut Rosé 2010. Originally created as the wine that inspired Leslie Balfour-Lynn’s famous philosophy, “If we can’t sell it, we’ll drink it,” this exceptional vintage was crafted to reflect her favourite Champagne, Billecart-Salmon Rosé, when the family first decided to “plant a few vines.” Since then, Balfour Brut Rosé has become an icon in its own right. It was the first English wine served in British Airways First Class and even made an appearance at the London 2012 Olympics. Now, we’re opening the archive to release this beautifully mature 2010 vintage. Rich, precise and unapologetically glamorous, it has developed remarkable depth and complexity over time while retaining the elegance that made it a benchmark for English sparkling wine. Available in limited quantities, this is a rare opportunity to experience a landmark vintage from the wine that helped define Balfour.
