Planted in 2011, HiDE vineyard sits on shallow chalk soils that, despite the site’s relative warmth, force the vines to work hard, producing small yields of consistently exceptional fruit. The wine is a precise, tension-filled expression of this unique terroir, predominantly fermented in stainless steel (95%) with partial malolactic fermentation to add subtle depth and richness to the palate.
