In 2024 we took over a small plot of around a thousand vines just outside Ross on Wye in south Herefordshire. It consists of a number of different varieties including Madeline Angevine and Pinot Noir Precoce which make up the blend for this wine. The Madeline was planted in 1991 therefore are some of the oldest vines I've worked with. 2025 will go down as one of the best growing seasons the UK witnessed.
