We’ve sold out of our debut wine! It’s still available on some of our tours this summer and we hope to make another banging rosé from our 2026 harvest.A still, crisp, dry rosé, full of fruit flavours. ABV 10%.A naturally produced blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, its bold look and intense, textured flavours are a result of pristine Vale of Glamorgan fruit and careful, deliberate skin contact during fermentation. It’s bursting with Summer Pudding, wild strawberries and cream, and honeysuckle. Light, dry, fruit forward, and gently hazy, this is a ‘proper’ rosé of Wales.I have judged the Welsh Wine Awards for a few years and am familiar with all of Wales' rosés. This is one of the best I have tasted. Richard Ballantyne MWHere is some information about its journey from vine to glass. Our debut still wine is made from our Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes harvested by hand in October 2023. The grapes were taken to natural winemaker Dave Morris at Mountain People Wine where they spent two weeks with the juice in ‘skin contact’ which allows the lovely pink colour to be imparted into the wine. The juice, and its fabulous naturally occurring yeast, was then transferred into an egg-shaped fermentation vessel and left to do what happens when the juice with its natural sugars and yeasts are allowed to ferment – the magical, mystical transformation into wine!Natural winemaking is a slow process relying on mother nature to decide the timeline. The initial fermentation paused as the air temperature fell at the end of the year and then restarted as spring progressed with the warmer days. And by September the wine was ready to reach the next stage – bottling. It then underwent a period of ‘settling’ in the bottle, and is now ready for you.
