Wellhayes Sparkling Wine

We are now selling the 2021 vintage. It has been stored ‘on the lees’ for 3 years and is ready for drinking now but will improve over the next year or so. The wine has a lively mousse and fresh acidity with a complex layer of stone fruits and a surprisingly long finish. The wine has been awarded a silver medal by the Independent English Wine Awards. Described by the judges as “A well-crafted sparkling wine with notes of apple, pear and light pastry. Mature, balanced and supported by a fine mousse, it offers an attractive and approachable traditional method style.” The wine is available in standard 75cl bottles and is 11.5% vol.
