Abberley Hiils Vineyards form part of a farm called Mill Orchards which has been in the van Tongeren family since 1987. The farm has grown many sorts of fruit over the years but has specialised in growing apples for the supermarket trade and making apple juice both for ourselves and for other people. The juice and the apples have won many prizes over the years at the Malvern Autumn Show and we have been pleased that we can say that all the apples to make our juice are grown on the farm and picked at the right time to make quality juice. The first vines were planted in 2008 to see how they would behave in our situation and it soon became apparent that we could grow quality grapes on our south facing slope that would make quality wine. We are pleased to be associated with Halfpenny Green vineyards who make and bottle our wine.
