Bourgoin Cognac Barrel

Bourgoin is a small, family-run estate based in Tarsac, France. They grow their own Ugni Blanc grapes, ferment with native yeasts, distil on-site, mature in French oak, and bottle everything by hand. These 350L barrels held their Eau-de-Mer XO, a Cognac aged for 15 years and is made all the more distinctive by the addition of a small amount of micro-filtered seawater during maturation, revealing notes of salted caramel, stone fruit, and roasted pear. We’re proud to work with people who share many of the values we hold onto, and it’s that same honesty and focus on individuality that makes selecting these casks feel so natural.
