Duration Brewing is a modern farmhouse brewery founded in 2017 by Miranda Hudson and Derek Bates, based since 2019 in a converted medieval barn at Abbey Farm, West Acre, set in the ruins of an old priory beside a chalk river. Producing everyday, agricultural, slow and spontaneous beers with a deep sense of Norfolk terroir, Duration was named in RateBeer's global top ten new breweries in 2020; beers range from fresh West Coast pales to wild-fermented cool-shipped spontaneous ales, all from nature with purpose.
