Old Greg's Barley Wine was originally a homebrew recipe from Greg Hobbs, our co-founder and our original Head Brewer at Five Points. Brewed on New Year's Eve each year, Old Greg's Barley Wine was made with exclusively English hops that varied each year. Each vintage was bottle-aged for a year before making its way onto shelves, and each brew was a slightly different recipe, some with more apricot and marmalade notes, while others featured more honeycomb and berry flavours.
