Penderyn Distillery is Wales's first and most celebrated whisky distillery, founded in 2000 in the village of Penderyn in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Using a unique single-pot still designed by Dr David Faraday that produces an exceptionally light, pure new-make spirit, Penderyn produces award-winning Welsh single malts — including the flagship Madeira Finish, Sherrywood and Portwood expressions — that have established Welsh whisky as a serious category on the world stage.
