Cowdray Farm Shop and Cafe is a celebrated farm shop and cafe on the Cowdray Estate in Midhurst, West Sussex, offering a wide range of estate-produced and locally sourced food including Cowdray venison, beef and lamb, seasonal vegetables, artisan cheeses and local ales. Set within the beautiful grounds of this historic polo estate, the shop and cafe are popular destinations for visitors to the South Downs National Park.

October Evening Dining Join us on Saturday 31st October at Cowdray Farm Shop Café for an evening of exceptional food and hospitality. Your evening begins with a welcome drink from 6:30pm , before taking your seat at 7:00pm. Whether you’re joining us with friends, family or someone special, we look forward to welcoming you for a relaxed and memorable evening of delicious food. OCTOBER MENU Welcome drink Starter – Pan-fried scallops with celeriac purée, apple gel and sea salt and vinegar popcorn Vegetarian starter – Celeriac velouté topped with apple and a toasted hazelnut crumb Main course – Slow-roasted pork belly with pomme purée, braised pak choi and Calvados jus Vegetarian main – Wild mushroom gnocchi topped with crispy mushrooms and winter truffle Dessert – Tarte fine with vanilla bean ice cream To finish – A selection of petit fours Tickets are £65 per person and include a three-course meal, welcome drink and bread. VIEW MENU Please confirm your menu choices and any dietary requirements within your booking notes. Your chosen dishes MUST be PRE SELECTED, you cannot change your menu choice on the night. Cancellation policy : Bookings are fully refundable up to seven days before the event. A 50% refund will be issued thereafter until 48 hours before the event. Halloween Trail at Cowdray Ruins Wednesday 28 th October – Sunday 1 st November | 10:00am – 3:30pm The Secrets of the Ruins- Step into the shadows and become a Secret Seeker… Something mysterious is stirring among the ruins of Cowdray. For centuries, a chilling legend has told of a curse of fire and water. Now, the clues are beginning to appear once again. Follow the trail, uncover hidden secrets and unravel the mysteries of the ruins. Can you discover the truth behind the curse of Cowdray ruins and break the spell? ‘The Secrets of the Ruins’ is a Halloween adventure trail for all young detectives. You can begin the self-guided trail at any time during our opening hours. Simply head to Ruins Visitor Centre to collect your trail map and explore at your own pace. After the trail enjoy free arts and crafts activities in the Tudor Kitchen. £9 per child when booked on or before Friday 23rd October £11 per child from Saturday 24th October Adults go free! Sunday Carvery at The Griffin

Try our delicious Sunday Carvery created from seasonal local produce. The menu features traditional favourites, including roast beef, pork and chicken. Our menu also includes a different vegetarian special each week, made with the freshest produce. Each dish is served with seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. All followed by a delicious dessert. The team look forward to welcoming you and your family to The Griffin. Served every Sunday at The Griffin , 12-3pm, at Cowdray Golf Club in Midhurst. £25.50 for two-courses and £11.50 for a children’s meal and dessert (up to 12yrs old).
