Hambledon Vineyard is one of England's oldest and most celebrated wine estates, first planted in 1952 by Major-General Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones — the first commercial vineyard in England since the Middle Ages. Based in the village of Hambledon in the South Downs National Park, the estate now produces exceptional traditional method sparkling wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier on the chalk downlands, including the acclaimed Classic Cuvee and Premiere Cuvee, consistently ranked among England's finest sparkling wines.
