From Vineyard to Bottle: A Taste of Daws Hill Experience English Sparkling Wine at Its Finest Escape to the stunning Chiltern Hills and explore the charm of Daws Hill Vineyard , where natural beauty meets artisanal winemaking. Our small, dedicated team uses traditional methods to craft exceptional English sparkling wine from classic Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay . Vineyard Tour & Tasting Experience Go behind the scenes with our immersive vine-to-bottle tour. Discover how we grow, harvest, and produce our award-winning wines using centuries-old techniques. You’ll learn about every stage of the winemaking process—from pressing and fermentation to bottling and aging. During the tour, indulge in a tutored tasting session led by our experienced guide, featuring a handpicked selection of our sparkling wines. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply curious, this is a unique opportunity to learn, taste, and relax in a truly picturesque setting. Please Note: In the event of poor weather, tours may be limited to the winery.
Vineyard tour & wine tasting – Saturday 12 September @ 12pm
The guided tour around the vineyard and winery lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes and includes three sample-sized glasses of our award winning wines per person. Single tickets are £21 each. A cheeseboard is available at £9. Please select the ‘ticket with cheeseboard’ option if you would like to take up this offer. Be Prepared Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour is due to begin and provide your name to a member of staff at the outside bar area. Please wait in the wine garden area where you will be greeted by our founder and wine maker Tim, who will be your tour guide. The tour starts off on foot into our vineyard, followed by a short walk to the winery so please wear appropriate footwear. and remember to ask lots of questions!

In collaboration with Sakana Oxford , this hands-on experience combines authentic Japanese sushi-making with award-winning English sparkling wines in the relaxed surroundings of our working winery. Whether you’ve always wanted to learn how to make sushi or are simply looking for a fun afternoon with friends, this relaxed workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn something new while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine. 🍣 Learn to Make Three Types of Sushi Guided by Yoko , owner and chef of Sakana Oxford, you’ll learn how to make three different styles of sushi from scratch. Using fresh, high-quality ingredients, Yoko will demonstrate each technique before helping you create your own sushi to enjoy during the afternoon. Along the way, she’ll share the traditions, skills and tips behind authentic Japanese sushi, giving you the confidence to recreate it at home. Yoko sources her sashimi-grade fish from the same trusted London supplier used by many of the UK’s leading Japanese restaurants, ensuring an authentic and delicious experience. 🍷 Enjoy Daws Hill Sparkling Wines Throughout the afternoon you’ll enjoy a selection of Daws Hill Vineyard’s award-winning sparkling wines while you make and eat your sushi.
